Bella Hadid's spray on dress

Paris fashion shows sprayed dress - 24th October 2022

Paris is famous for fashion. But at the Paris Fashion Week, one dress was different. It was from the Coperni fashion company.

At the show, a model - Bella Hadid - came onto the stage. Three people waited there. They were ready to put on her dress. They carried special bottles. They sprayed Hadid with white liquid, like paint. They sprayed a dress onto Hadid. After a few minutes, the liquid became dry. You could cut the dress and move it. Then Hadid walked around. Everybody clapped.

After the show, two designers talked to journalists. They wanted to mix science and fashion, they said.

The special liquid – Fabrican – can do lots of things. For example, doctors use it to help broken arms and legs. Factories use it to build cars. It also helps clean up oil in the sea.

And in Paris, Fabrican entered the world of fashion.
